We provide practical formation, ministry resources, and project support for dioceses and shared parishes seeking to strengthen Hispanic/Latino ministry, build relationships between cultural communities, and move ministry from important ideas into action.
Gente Puente (Spanish for bridge builders) began with a simple desire: to help Catholics from different cultures listen to one another, learn from one another, and build a Church in which everyone is able to participate fully.
Our services are especially for dioceses and shared parishes navigating ministry with Anglo and Hispanic/Latino communities. We also support Catholic universities, ministries, organizations, and leaders developing intercultural formation and ministry resources.
Patti and Deacon Chris bring complementary experience in Hispanic Ministry, intercultural formation, Catholic communications, theology, pastoral leadership, teaching, and project development.
Together, they help Catholic leaders take good ideas and turn them into practical next steps—whether that means developing a formation program, strengthening ministry across cultures, creating useful resources, or simply getting an important project across the finish line.
Their work grows out of years of hands-on experience in diocesan Hispanic Ministry, shared-parish formation, Catholic communications, intercultural training, pastoral planning, and adult faith formation.
Patti brings particular strengths in bilingual communications, development of courses and practical resources, research synthesis, virtual ministry support, and project management. Deacon Chris brings theological and pastoral expertise shaped by leadership in diocesan Hispanic Ministry, years of accompanying culturally diverse Catholic communities, and a dynamic speaking style in both English and Spanish.
Our mission is to help Catholic leaders build bridges across cultures and move from good intentions about intercultural ministry to practical, pastoral action.
Flexible remote support for dioceses and Catholic organizations that need help keeping ministry initiatives moving—through communications, research, coordination, administrative support, deadline tracking, and follow-up—without adding another full-time staff position.
Help turning expertise and scattered ideas into clear courses, asynchronous formation, presentations, facilitator guides, handouts, scripts, and practical ministry resources.
Practical formation in Hispanic Ministry, intercultural competence, ecclesial integration, shared parish life, and pastoral planning—with virtual options from Patti and Chris and selected in-person workshops, retreats, and formation with Deacon Chris.
Patti currently provides her consulting, project support, course development, and formation services virtually. Deacon Chris is available for selected virtual and in-person workshops, retreats, and formation.
